Our brief for this event was to provide coaching by walking around the lake and helping those who were fishing with there own tackle.
Well that idea was almost dead in the water as on arrival, I was just about to tell the lads how I thought they should go about this task when we were greeted with ten small faces with the request of 'Can we have a go - Please'
What could we do?
So it was a quick dive into the back of our cars to dig out our tackle from the day before! In the meantime I asked two of the coaches, to visit everyone else, introduce themselves and see if they could assist!

Those coaches disappeared back around the lake, while the rest of us started putting smiles on little faces, the noise round the little lake was quite something, at times as there were at least four people talking at the same time, giving instructions, asking questions, answering questions etc.
At just after 3pm the other two coaches returned, there faces told the story, they had been very busy demonstrating and answering questions. Everyone was pleased to see them, no-one declining their offer of help.
The day was a success both in terms of the coaching and for the fishery.
The last question of the day was - When are you coming back?
